The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was founded by the Government of Hong Kong SAR in 2000 with a mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness in technology-based industries through applied research. Since inception, ASTRI has been delivering customer-focused R&D which cater to the needs of the industry. There are four main technological areas : Communications Technologies, IC Design, Sensing & Integration and Software & Systems.
